Calling all elementary-aged kids! It's recess time! Come to the Downtown Library to play a variety of games and hang out with other kids over summer break. Ages 6-12.

Join other players of the Pokémon Trading Card Game in a casual, drop-in setting. Learn the fundamentals of the game, build your deck, or match off against more experienced players. Ages 7-12.

This isn't your typical petting zoo! Meet members of the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, hear their instruments, and give them a try yourself. All ages.

Beat the heat with outside water games! Enjoy fun activities, make a splash, and cool down with icy refreshments. Ages 2-12.

Support the Library while eating local! Dine Out at Lennie's every Tuesday in August from 4-9 PM and 20% of your tab will go toward Friends of the Library fundraising for MCPL programs.
