Gather in the Garden

Join the Downtown Library gardeners for a fun afternoon in the garden! In the event of inclement weather, we'll gather indoors. All ages.

The Downtown Library gardeners invite you to spend an hour with us as we check in on our growing projects! This year, we're focusing on flowers—mostly natives—with a few fun and colorful varieties as well. Additionally, we're growing popular and fragrant herbs in our worm tower!

Activities will include a tour of the Downtown Library Garden, a scavenger hunt, and plenty of sidewalk chalk to make the garden even more colorful! Finally, participants will have the opportunity to take some cuttings from our flower and herb garden.
