Seed Swap
Saturday, November 02
11:00am - 1:00pm
Downtown Library
Meeting Room 2B/C ComboBring your vegetable and flower seeds to exchange with other community members and help the gardens of Monroe County grow! All ages.
The Downtown Library and Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard will also have free seeds available. Any seeds left over from the Swap will be donated to the participating seed libraries so that they're still available for the community.
When donating seeds, please make sure your seeds are not from invasive plants and note the following:
- The type and variety of seed
- The year the seeds are from
- Whether the seeds are store-bought or self-saved
We ask that you please package your seeds accordingly; we will have tools and supplies on-hand.
Please contact Maggie Hutt at mhutt@mcpl.info if you have any questions about this program.
This program is in partnership with Mother Hubbard's Cupboard.
