Join us to make a basic fall garden plan. Learn what to plant and how to prepare for both the hot and the frosty days ahead. Age 18 and up.
Fall is a great time for gardening! We generally have nice weather, reduced pest pressure, and less soggy conditions than spring for planting beautiful cool weather crops. The longest-maturing crops should be planted in late July and early August, so now is the time to start considering your options. Join us and the City of Bloomington's Parks and Recreation to make a basic fall garden plan, learn what to plant, and how to prepare for both the hot and the frosty days ahead. All participants will leave with some seeds to get started.
This program is in partnership with the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation.
